Rather poor pictures (due to strong backlight) of an inland bird.

Somewhat better light conditions, but still difficult to obtain good video images. This bird was present on the 'Den Oever schor'. This is a traditionally good site for waders, especially in spring, when large numbers of Bar-tailed Godwit Limosa lapponica rest here during the high tide, in a short period of stop-over on their way to the Siberian breeding grounds.
