On these pages, I present some of my results with a Sony TRV11E Digital Video camera, which I bought in the summer of 2000. This is a particularly useful instrument for taking record shots of birds, especially in combination with a telescope. For this purpose, I use a Kowa TSN-824 32x82. Because the camera is so small and handy, I almost always carry it along when I am out birding. The quality of the pictures when used in combination with a scope is often far less than one may be accustomed to when using film, but the large magnification (without being restricted to sunny light conditions) and the ease of use make up for this.
I also included pictures taken with a digital Canon Powershot G2 digital camera, mostly from butterflies, dragonflies and damselflies.
