A recently acquired digital camera was tried on a very tame Magpie (obviously not of wild origin). The Canon Powershot G2 is very easy to use although it is less useful for digiscoping, as it requires a very wide lens aperture to film through. Vignetting is therefore an almost unavoidable thing when you use this model.
However, for birds that really get close, like this Magpie, it is very good (as for macro work).
