A rare species on the island. This bird has probably already been present since 15 October, when even 2 birds were seen at this site. The Lugar de Baixo pond is absolutely a vagrant trap, as at the same time, we saw a female Gadwall and a male Northern Shoveler, also rarities in the archipelago!
