7/1 3 at our hotel in Morretes, 8/1 at least 6 Pto. de Cima trail and at least 6 along Caminho de Graciosa.
Plush-crested Jay Cyanocorax chrysops
10/1 8 at Iguaçu falls, 11/1 5 Poço preto trail, 12/1 several Iguazu falls, 13/1 common at the Campo Bonito farm, 29/1 3 in Curitiba.
Common Opossum Didelphis marsupialis
23/1 1 Intervales, 26/1 1 at night in Guaratuba.
Several species of bat were seen at various wooded places, but these could not be identified to species. The same applied for squirrels.

18/1 at least 4 Ilha Sapeca, Parati Bay.

11/1 ca. 6 Poço preto trail (Iguaçu), 19/1 ca. 8 tres picos trail, Itatiaia.
Black Howler Monkey Alouatta caraya
(not seen well) 11/1 ca. 6 Poço preto trail (Iguaçu).
Brown Howler Monkey Alouatta fusca
23/1 2 Intervales.
South American Coati Nasua nasua
10/1 several on the Brazilian side of the Iguaçu waterfalls.

19/1 crossing the main road in Itatiaia NP.
Jaguar Panthera onca
23/1 1 black animal chasing a little deer at Intervales.
Azara's Agouti Dasyprocta azarae
An agouti that most likely belonged to this species was seen 11/1 along the Poço preto trail (Iguaçu).
Snakes appeared here and there but usually rushed off before we could get good views. However, one Common or Olive Whipsnake appeared 17/1 on our trail at Corcovado and stayed there. Monitor lizards were also seen regularly, as well as smaller species of lizard.
