Argentina 2002 index
Teus Luijendijk
In March 2002, I spent a week on two very different sites in Argentina (the area of San Clemente del Tuyu, just S of Buenos Aires, and at Ushuaia in Tierra del Fuego), as a prelude to a boat trip that would take me from the Southern tip of South-America, via the Antarctic peninsula, to Ascension Island in the tropical Atlantic. I travelled together with the Swedes Hans Ackered, Lennart Falk, Yngve Hareland, Jan-Olov Hedblad and Jan Wendeby, who, by their company, made the whole trip an even bigger success.
During the birding we did both in Argentina and during the Atlantic Odyssey, I made a lot of video recordings. The results from the week in Argentina are presented here as stills taken from these video tapes; just click at the thumbnails to obtain a larger image.

A detailed trip report is available here.
